I was thinking to buy a Tablet.

But I like torrents very much, and Tablets would be of no use if Torrents cannot be downloaded in them.

So can Tablet PC download a Torrent?
If the Tablet PC runs a desktop operating system like Windows, OS X, or a distribution of Linux, then yes. If the Tablet PC runs on a mobile OS like iOS, Android, BlackBerry, etc, then it cannot.

There are some apps that can do some marginal stuff, but you have to rtablet pc downloademember these are mostly low powered ARM processors.

to answer the headline question, no, you can't. To answer the real question you are asking, android has torrent download applications available for it so yes you could. I don't know if one exists for the ipad or the blackberry one.
